Million-selling band AC/DC, who have been around for over three decades, are now headlines in Scotland. The initiative, presented by the parliamentarian Christine Grahame (of the MSP for the South of Scotland) intends to honor the mythical group coinciding with their visit to Glasgow next summer, as part of their tour of the United Kingdom with which they will present their new album.
Two of the group's founding members, Angus and Malcolm Young, were born in Glasgow but later moved to Australia with their family, where they met former bandleader Bon Scott (who died in 1980).
